HYPERMOBILE YOGA & MEDITATION

You've got this.

〰️

You've got this. 〰️

So many hypermobile yogis leave the practice in fear of hurting themselves despite the positive impact the practice of yoga had on them spiritually, emotionally, and socially. Something has to change.

You do not need to be afraid of Yoga.

I’ve got you.

Join me on Wednesday February 25th from 5:30-6:30PM (EST) for a virtual Flow and Restore class for hypermobile bodies - an invitation to reconnect with your body’s innate wisdom, cultivating resilience and ease.

Living in a hEDS/POTS/MCAS body myself, I designed this Flow & Restore class especially for those with hypermobility spectrum disorder (HSD), hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), dysautonomia, or anyone who benefits from movement that respects joint limits, nervous system balance, and rest. Because this class is virtual, you can turn your camera off or even do the practice from your couch or bed. You can do the parts of the class that resonate, or just listen and meditate.

This class blends gentle, stabilizing movement with deeply supported rest. We’ll flow mindfully to build strength around the joints, then settle into restorative poses that soothe the nervous system and release tension. Utilizing your favorite props from home like pillows/squishmallows, blankets, and blocks, each posture is adapted to honor your unique needs - minimizing joint strain, easing fatigue, and supporting autonomic balance.

Movement doesn’t have to be scary, I promise. You’re doing great already.

Don’t forget - you’ve got this. ⭐

Being hypermobile myself, yoga has always been a tricky place for me. Restorative yoga and meditation created a foundation for me by regulating my nervous system and showing me what rest feels like. From there, I was able to build up my exercise tolerance all the way to inversions! Finding a way to make movement fun and safe again has been one of the most empowering and joyful experiences of my life, and I would love the opportunity to share that with you.

Have you ever wanted a certain theme in a yoga class, completely tailored to you and your needs? That sounds like a fantasy... but it isn't! Taking a private yoga class is a great place to learn more about your body and receive care made for YOUR body! In a private class, you receive personalized feedback, supportive assists, and lots of space to ask questions.

Ever wanted to start meditating but don't know where the heck to start?! I've been there. If you want secular or spiritual mentorship for your meditation practice, one-on-one meetings could give you the support you need to create a consistent practice. Learn new meditation techniques, navigate challenges in your practice, and create a safe space together through a mentor relationship.

What makes this different?

When I got diagnosed with Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS), one of the first things the doctor told me was that yoga wasn’t a good option for movement. As a yoga teacher and avid yogi, that was the worst news I could have ever received. Yoga is a daily part of my life and spiritual practice.

By exploring yoga through a hypermobile lens, I’ve been able to develop a safe way to practice yoga that strengthens the body to increase stability and reduce pain and regulate the nervous system. It wasn’t necessarily about NOT doing yoga - it was about doing yoga in a way that was safe for my body.

Meditation is a great tool to work with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, a type of dysautonomia, because it directly regulates the nervous system. I’ve also found in my own life that it helps me see the world in a clearer, more balanced way that allows me to show up authentically and with care. Two for one!.
